Metallic Zebra Nails

You might think; I've seen these before. And I was thinking the same when I did these! And then I found out I already did these :P But this time I used different colors :)

As my base color I used Dance Baby from China Glaze's Electropop collection. A collection that I was not interested in at all. One day I was just like; what the heck? So I ordered it. I really don't have anything like it!

For the stamping I used China Glaze Emotion from the Romantic collection. I've been looking for a nice metallic pink, but this one isn't IT yet. I ordered Color Club Hot Like Lava and I hope that's an even nicer one!

The imageplate I used is m69 from Konad. I just love that zebra stamp, can't help it :P

One thing I wanted to know; I've had a message on my screen that my blog has malware on it or something and that it came from someone else's blog. Also when I just went to my dashboard the same message would pop up. If you still see that message coming on your screen please let me know on Twitter. But I hope it's fixed :)

Stamping: Pink Zebra

Hello! Today I would like to show you a manicure I wore 2 weeks ago. To be honest it was my first time wearing obvious stamping on my nails (at work).

I'm wearing 3 coats of Blushing Rose from Color Club on a coat of China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat. Blushing Rose is, to me, a perfect baby pink. Probably my favorite pink at the moment! :P Blushing Rose comes from the Blossoming collection.

Over that I stamped with Catrice's Let's Mauve On! [new version] and I used Konad image plate m69. I finished the manicure with a coat of Seche Vite.

Thanks for reading!

Day 22: Inspired By A Song

I've been thinking so much of what song I should be inspired by. I listen to so much music, but I couldn't pick anything where I though I could make something with. I decided to watch video clips instead and I got inspired!

I doubt you can tell what video I choose, but I picked Jessie J's Domino. The video is really nice and I saw some things that I wanted to do something with.

This picture is inspired from the part where Jessie sits on this zebra print chair and she wears this gorgeous butterfly mask!

My index finger is inspired by a jacket she wears in the video. It's a blue and green gradient with leopard print and something printed in yellow. I decided to just put the yellow with the gradient as well.

My middle finger is from where she wears this pink suit kind of thing full with with things. I don't know what they were, so I just stamped clouds on my nail :P

My ring finger is inspired by the wall where she dances in a white 'I-don't-know-what-to-call-it'. The wall is actually greenish, but I already had a green nail.

My pink is inspired by the very beginning. Also the wall, with these circles in circles going in circles ;p

Overall I'm kind of proud of my little creation. Especially because I'm not that creative :P I hope you like it too! :)

Day 13: Animal Print

Animal print. I always like seeing it on others, but on me... I don't know. I like to show stuff here and then I like it, but I would probably not go out the house with these nails ;p

Just like yesterday it turned out a bit different than planned, but that's okay. The colors I used were Pucci-Licious (purple), What A Drag (silver) and Warhol (pink), all from Color Club. For the black I used a black stamping polish.

  • Seche Vite base coat
  • 2 coats of Pucci-Licious, What A Drag and Warhol
  • Essence matte topcoat on Pucci-Licious and Warhol
  • Konad image plate m57
  • Silver stamping with What A Drag
  • Black stamping with black stamping polish
  • No topcoat

Rainbow Leopard Nails

Last night I was stalking blogs and came across Steffels. There I saw this manicure and I knew I wanted to try that out! So, today I did.

I painted my nails with China Glaze Snow, 2 coats and applied Poshé topcoat. When it was dry I grabbed Konad image plate m57 and Wet 'n Wild Fantasy Makers Black Magic. This one is great for stamping! I used to like to stamp with Color Club's Black, but that one would dry kinda fast and I just couldn't really stamp with it anymore.

With a dotting tool I made the little spots, but I don't really like the way it turned out. I didn't use the right color green. It doesn't fit with the bright colors. Also, some spots are way too round. Afterwards I used 'David' topcoat to make it shine.

And these last 2 pictures are just here, because I liked them for some reason :P

I hope you liked this manicure :)

Stamping: Red Tiger Nails

Since I wanted to do something more interesting than just swatching and because I got rid of the fake nails I decided to get out my Konad plates. I wanted to do something with red and since I got a lot of red polishes the past 2 weeks I knew there must be two in it for this manicure.

I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze's Ruby Deer which instantly became my favorite red. When my nail polish addiction started I saw a picture of a celebrity with short red nails and that was a perfect red. I always wanted to find that perfect red and here it is!

With the famous Konad image plate m57 I stamped over my nails with the tiger print. I used China Glaze's Sugar Plums for that. Sugar Plums would probably be too sheer if you would want to stamp over white, but I think it went well over Ruby Deer.

What do you think of my stamping skills? :P I think it went pretty well if I may say so xD
