Blue Ombre Nails

Today I have another blue manicure for you. I did a blue ombre today, because I had to go somewhere quickly today, so went for this simple thing. I've done blue ombre nails once before, I've done a pink ombre once before and I've done ombre paint drips.

From pinky to thumb I used Color Club Chelsea Girl, Sinful Colors Why Not?, Orly Blue Collar, China Glaze Bahamian Escape and Essie Borrowed & Blue.

Chelsea Girl is pretty much the same as China Glaze Ride The Waves. It felt like 3/4 jelly and 1/4 creme :P If you had to pick between these two colors go for Ride The Waves. Here I used 3 coats of Chelsea Girl and it's still not opaque.

Pink Ombre Drips [Chalkboard Nails contest]

Yes, 2 posts today! ;p You can find my post for the 31 Day Challenge here [inspired by artwork] :)

Chalkboard Nails is having a contest, which closes in a few hours. I already wanted to enter, but I forgot about it... It is a nail art contest and the theme is; The dotting tool. You're only aloud to use a dotting tool and the brush of your polish.

I decided to go for ombre drips. I didn't really know how to make it, so my ring and middle finger are a bit messed up :P

The colors from dark to light;
Etos (A pink LE for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month)
Catrice; Aretha's R•E•S•P•I•N•K
China Glaze; Sugar High
Sinful Colors; Beautiful Girl
Wet 'n Wild; Tickled Pink
The silver base color is 2 coats of What A Drag from Color Club.

Thanks for reading!

Day 5: Blue Nails

Doing this challenge makes me realize that it's easier to remember the date. But that's just a side note. For day 5 we have blue nails on the planning. At first I stamped something, but it kinda failed big time. I had some blue polishes in my hands to do some new stamping, but I decided to go for ombre instead.

The colors are far from accurate and even photoshop couldn't help me. In real life I really like the way it looks. Just like the orange and yellow nails it makes me feel like summer is coming soon!

Thumb: Sinful Colors - Why Not?
Index: Orly - Blue Collar
Middle: Julep - Amy
Ring: China Glaze - For Audrey
Pinky - Essence - You Belong To Me

Pink Ombre Nails + Graffiti Nail Art

Okay, I know 99,9% of the people is totally over crackle polish. I belong to that 0,1% that still tolerates it :P I'm not into the black and white crackles, but I really wanted to check out the Golden Rose Graffiti Nail Art crackles. A few weeks ago I ordered 2 and this is one of them. It's number 10.

A few days ago I showed you my Pink Ombre Nails and when I wanted to refresh my manicure for the next day I thought it was time to finally try out the crackles.
Number 10 is a shimmery pink crackle polish. When you apply it on your nails it starts crackling pretty fast with gaps not to small or too big. It dries matte, which looks really ugly. When you apply the topcoat the shimmer starts sparkling and looking pretty :P

Thanks for reading!

P.S. Comments are highly appreciated. They're motivating me to show more on here. I know my nails aren't perfect, but still :)

Pink Ombre Nails

Ombre nails, something I've been wanting to do since forever! It seems so simple, but whenever I wanted to do it I stopped my search for shades that would fit together. But last night at around 1 am, I found them! They're still not so perfect together, but I'm kinda proud :P

I definitely want to do this more with different colors. The colors in the picture are not color accurate; my camera couldn't capture them. But here's a list of what colors I used:
- Sinful Colors - Beautiful Girl (pinky finger)
- China Glaze - Sugar High (ring finger)
- ELF - Gum Pink (middle finger)
- Hema - 91 (index finger)
- Color Club - Overboard (thumb)

Have you done ombre nails before? I'd love to see it!
