Catrice Month: Raspberry Fields Forever

Today I'm showing Raspberry Fields Forever. For me it's hard to see what the color really looks like, but to me it's a pink/red color. Depending on the lighting it's pink or red and sometimes pink and red.

The application was wonderful again. It felt thin, but not watery. One coat will be fine when you have short nails, but 2 coats are required for longer nails. I didn't use a base- and topcoat again, but on the picture it looks like I have a matte index finger. It's really not, but now you can get an idea of what it would look like matte though :P

Thanks for reading :)

Day 28: Inspired By A Flag

I think you can see what flag inspired me; The British Flag! I've always wanted to visit the U.K. The Netherlands and the U.K. are pretty much neighbors with just a little bit of ocean between us :P

I tried my best with the freehand thing and I'm not that good with it, but it was easier than I expected it to be.

Anyway, I think you're dying to know what polishes I used, so here we go;
2 coats of Hema Nailpolish nr. 08
The white is a white stamping polish and the red is Ruby Deer from China Glaze.

Day 27: Inspired By Artwork

Hello! Today is again, really simple. I choose to do Mondrian nails, because it's simple (and I went to a college named like that). I actually wanted to do all my nails, but I didn't feel so well, so ended up with this.

I actually painted all my nails black, except for my thumb. With striping tape I made the lines and filled the blocks in with a dotting tool. Then I took the striping tape off.

My thumb has 2 coats of Catrice Blues Brother Vol. II. My index finger is just Black by Color Club. My middle finger is 1 coat of Black and 2 coats of Ruby Slippers from Color Club and my pinky is a coat of Black and 2 coats of Almost Famous, also from Color Club.

Below my inspiration picture;

Day 25: Inspired By Fashion

Day 25! If I didn't take a little break I would've been done yesterday ;p Anyway, fashion. I'm not into fashion at all! It's just not my thing. But I did know what I wanted to do for today's nails.

Ever since I saw Lady Gaga's Bad Romance video there was an outfit I kinda liked. Not for me or any other person, but I liked it. Near the end of the video she's wearing a red outfit with lace in it. That inspired me for these nails.

For my base color I used 3 coats of Color Club Coastal Creme and for my stamping I used a red stamping polish. I used Konad image plates m57 and m65.

On my thumb I used 2 coats of China Glaze Snow and painted the cross on with a brush. Just a little inspiration from the video ;p

I must say that also today I'm pretty happy with the end result :) I hope you liked it too!

Valentine Nails; Hearts & Dots

I think most people don't celebrate Valentine's Day. Me neither. Why has there be one day to tell your loved one to tell you love them while you can do that every other day as well?

Anyway, I do love all the hearts and cute things you see everywhere :)

For this manicure I used Seche Vite clear base coat. The white nails are Snow from China Glaze and the red nails are 1 coat of Bloody Mary To Go and 2 coats of Marilyn & Me, both from Catrice. The dots are from Konad image plate m79 and the hearts from image plate m59. I stamped with a red and white stamping polish and I used no topcoat.

Oh, have you seen my post for the 31 day challenge for today? If not, click right.... HERE!

Day 1: Red Nails

My first day of this challenge! At the moment I'm like; I'm totally completing this challenge! But I have no idea how I feel in like 2 weeks xD

I hope you can forgive my sloppiness. I cleaned up around my nails and in real life all the red seemed like it was gone, but the pics show something different.

My base color was Ruby deer and the darker color is Phat Santa. The glitter over Phat Santa is Mrs. Claus. All are from China Glaze.

I hope to see you back for day 2, and I have to tell that I'm pretty excited about that manicure :)

Valentine Nails; Love, Love, Love

I don't know how about you, but I don't have a Valentine... :( But, I don't mind! I can still enjoy this day with everything in heart shapes and cute chocolate boxes in stores.

For this manicure I decided to have do an accent nail on my ringfinger, but if I would wear this out, I would also have my thumb red. At the moment I'm not wearing nail polish for a few weeks to get them healthy :)

I only used 2 colors in this manicure. The red is Ruby Deer and the white is Snow, both from China Glaze. I used image plate SdP-35 that I ordered a few months ago from dashicabeautyshop.nl for € 3,80

Stamping: Red Tiger Nails

Since I wanted to do something more interesting than just swatching and because I got rid of the fake nails I decided to get out my Konad plates. I wanted to do something with red and since I got a lot of red polishes the past 2 weeks I knew there must be two in it for this manicure.

I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze's Ruby Deer which instantly became my favorite red. When my nail polish addiction started I saw a picture of a celebrity with short red nails and that was a perfect red. I always wanted to find that perfect red and here it is!

With the famous Konad image plate m57 I stamped over my nails with the tiger print. I used China Glaze's Sugar Plums for that. Sugar Plums would probably be too sheer if you would want to stamp over white, but I think it went well over Ruby Deer.

What do you think of my stamping skills? :P I think it went pretty well if I may say so xD
